WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM TEACH?

This is a one-on-one program with admission based on a two-hour evaluation of the prospective student. At the end of the session, John Burr will discuss results with the student and his/her parents. If the results are positive, he will recommend a program specifically tailored to that student. The goal is to help students learn to

speak in clear, clean diction, in a smooth and natural way.
recognize clearly the effect of peers on speech habits and diction.
speak slowly and concisely in all social and presentation settings.
improve school and job interview skills.
effectively interpret books, poetry, scripture, and the like.
learn to perform voiceovers, if the motivation and interest is there.
conquer fears and tensions that may arise as they are speaking to an audience.
project an outgoing, winning personality that reflects who they really are.
